About LB Family Farms

Lucy Stauffer (L) started with one farm in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In the 1970s and '80s she pored over months-old classified ads and her copious notes to turn her one farm into many across the Midwest. She focused singularly on purchasing farms without homes or structures, simply the vacant land.

As she built her farms, her grandson Brent Centlivre (B) learned the process and assumed oversight of the farms upon her passing. Brent spent 27 years with Disney and is married with two daughters. Under his direction, LB upgraded to higher quality farms around the state of Iowa, including an organic farm.

In 2019 Brent expanded LB into acquiring vacant lots, in Brent’s home state of Florida. The focus is to serve landowners who are seeking to sell their property sell and partners with investors and homebuilders enabling more people to build a new home. LB Family Farms has completed 30+ transactions and seek opportunities with partners.
